Requiem For The King?: King George Vs ‘last’ main line run, the Royal Sunset, together with workings in South Wales (where 6000 was the first King west of Swansea).

Vic Berry Leicester: A unique view of the famous scrapyard, where 25s and GUVs are piled high, cabs are scattered around, yet with messages of hope amongst the debris.

A Gala Autumn: Diesel and steam galas on the Severn Valley, North Yorkshire Moors and Llangollen, featuring Deltics, 40s (including D335), 7F, Taw Valley, Evening Star at Whitby, the return of Joem, double headed Jinty and Pannier and Foxcote Manor.

5305 Over Rannoch: The most enterprising special of the year was the SRPS train from Fort William to Glasgow on the West Highland, over Rannoch Moor. Since this is inaccessible to motor vehicles, we took to the air, to bring you stunning views of the wilds of the Moor and of course the famous Horseshoe Curve!

Archive From Stirling Video: Vintage footage from the heyday of steam, including a ROD on the turntable, the Lynton and Barnstaple, Talyllyn re-opening, a Coal Tank, Beattie 2-4-0WT, a Duchess at Carlisle, expresses at Low Gill including a green Duchess, a Scot and an original Patriot and first views of a major new 16mm colour collection. Pacifics at York, a red Duchess, a West Country, Pannier and Black Five at Oxford, a Midland 2F, and an A3 entering Newcastle from the castle! Most of the foregoing is in colour.

The West Somerset Railway (Part One): Britain’s longest preserved railway, from Minehead to Watchet, featuring S&D 7F 53808, Pannier 6412, Prairie 5572 and diesels, on passenger and freight.
