We are in the cab of Anglia Railways 153326 for the 09.54 service from Ipswich to Harwich and then Cambridge on 22nd October 2001. Directly on departing from Ipswich we head into the 361-yard
long tunnel and emerge to Manningtree North Junction where we take the route left off the main line. From here the train progresses to Mistley, Wrabness and Parkeston Goods Junction for arrival at Harwich Platform 3.
The driver changes ends and we depart for Cambridge via Ipswich, Stowmarket and leave the main line at Haughley Junction for Bury St. Edmunds through Chippenham Junction and onto Newmarket.
