We start our journey on board EMU 313016 on 1st March 1997 and depart London Euston using the 3rd rail, first opened in 1922. We join the Bakerloo line at Queens Park and pass alongside the West Coast Main Line viewing classes 86s, 87s, 90s and other EMUs.
This was a route learning video for North London Railways. Our next section is another route learning video aboard EMU 313013 on 1st March 1997. Our journey begins at Watford Junction and progresses along the
Abbey branch line which was electrified in July 1988. A single line throughout, we have a lady driver and Traction Inspector on this occasion.
