Steam in the Smoke: More Panniers, L99 and L90, together with maroon Ivatt 46441 at work in pairs and alone on London Transport metals.
The Dragon’s Delight: 80079 and 44767s Welsh adventure, on the Central Wales line, both ways and the branches in the Far West to Pembroke Dock and Fishguard Harbour. Includes more double-heading.
Foxfield Freight: Another photographers’ special, with double-headed wagons up a 1 in 19 incline!
Main Line Steam: ‘Lizzie’s’ last run, 46203 on the S&C (with both of them slipping!), 46229 and 60532 on the S&C, 44767 in the Highlands and E828s main line test.
Caley Goods: Another 828, this time, the Caledonian Blue McIntosh 0-6-0, at work again, on the Strathspey Railway.
Torbay Diesels: The Paignton to Kinswear line was taken over by diesels – 58s on an unfitted freight, two 73s in Devon, 50002 and D9016 smoking like a steamer!
Cab Ride – Glasgow to Perth: Aboard a 158 (the prototype, No.701) along this scenic main line into the Highlands, with a plethora of semaphores.
BR Newslines: Loco-haulage once again, with 37427 in Scotland, 20s to Skegness, 31465 at Arnside, 47s in the Midlands and on ‘WoE Rail’ – the last days of locos on the Salisbury line, ‘Turbos’ to Stratford and at Moreton in Marsh, Cross City DMUs and EMUs Manchester Airport opens ‘Robin Hood’ line, Yellow Sprinter and the arrival of the first ‘Eurostar’ TMST at Folkestone.
